New Anti-Christmas Chrome Extension Caters to Grinches Everywhere

Memes.com
Hate Christmas? Wish you could banish it forever? Well now you can - online, at least. Insurance2Go, who offer technology and gadget-based policies, have created a new Chrome extension which allows you to censor everything and anything festive on your news feed. Compatible with sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Daily Mail, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post and a few more, the add-on allows you to stamp out any posts that may induce feelings of merriment with a 'Bah Humbug' seal.

Should you be enticed by a specific Christmassy article against your better judgement, you can hover over the censored posts to see a preview. From a religious perspective I suppose it could be beneficial, and for those more generally who do not wish to celebrate/hear non-stop about/feel pressured by the festive season.

Insurance2Go revealed data in conjunction with the extension that found 40% of people would prefer to avoid Christmas ads and content before Dec 1st.

You can download the new extension here.
