Facebook Share Button Now Available on Mobiles
Facebook have now implemented a ‘share’ button onto its mobile site so users can re-lay information from their phone.
The option to share shows up alongside the ‘like’ and ‘comment’ buttons. It allows users to post a link, comment or photo to their own profiles, as well as giving them the option to leave a personal comment. in the same way as the desktop version, users can also choose who they wish to share the information with, i.e. a certain audience or friends list.
A long time request by mobile users, the ability to share content on the move will soon come to iOS and Android apps.
“The company said there was no technical hurdle that made a share button difficult to implement on mobile,” the website said. “Facebook simply never made it a priority.”
When you now go to view a post, the share button will appear smaller in size next to the like and comment option.
As the share option will begin to be distributed on mobiles, more and more sponsored posts are likely to be shared more often, making the reach of brand pages a lot more accessible.
