How Is AI Machine Learning Helping Us To Improve Our Marketing Online | A Review

What I am about to share with you is one of my hidden gems.

Now more than ever, to be able to measure presence online and influence on social media is the foundation of a good marketing strategy and a way to plan campaigns and strategies efficiently.

There are a number of tools that will tell you if you are improving or not your reach and following but how do you do in general comparing with your competitors or everyone else is what we all want to know.

If you are old enough you will remember Klout. Klout was the first tool to measure your presence on social media, but it was based on likes and followers.
Klout closed on the 25th of May 2018, 4 years after been acquired for $200 million by a company called Lithium.

Representatives from Lithium say that they have learned from Klout enough to implement some of it in a future tool that will have AI implemented to it for more accuracy and efficiency, but someone else developed that idea much faster than Lithium.

It seems that Miguel Caeiro CEO and Founder of Skorr put these 2 things together, the ability to measure your presence plus AI machine learning to not just consider Likes, Followers or interaction but Skorr offers social insight.

Mixing in hard data with machine learning for natural language processing, emotion analysis, and link analysis, Skorr gives each user a social score or Skorr, continues to monitor performance and builds in insight for expanding reach.

“We wanted to give individuals the same degree of empowerment and control of their presence online as big brands and companies already have,” Skorr CEO and founder said in a statement.

Powered by AI

Skorr identifies the biggest trends across posts. Using A.I., the program will then offer immediate feedback on new posts and even attempt to predict the post’s success. Machine learning allows the app to generate tips based on each user’s Skorr, with the app becoming more intuitive in those tips the more each influencer (or would-be influencer) uses the app.

Skorr will measure and analyze influence from six of the major platforms — Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Tumbler, and YouTube — to give users a Skorr index based on a scale of 1 to 100..

Skorr can be used for influencers, small business owners and others on social media

As the app grows, Skorr will also add in the ability to challenge another Skorr friend. The challenges aren’t necessarily based on that overall Skorr since users will be able to create their own challenges.

Caeiro says the image recognition built in could also create alerts when users are about to post a photo that contains data such as a license plate, credit card number or other personal information in the background in the future.

This is not just a measurement tool, it is a type of AI consultant for your Social Media marketing because it will give you suggestion on how to improve your presence and influence and that is so much powerful than any other measuring tool that already exists because this one is based on machine learning about trends and it will even give you predictions based on its learning.

My experience using Skorr

I have used Skorr for a few months now and it is a completely different tool than Klout.
My first recommendation will be to use it for more than 3 months before you use the data you see on Skorr because you need to give it the time to learn from your interaction and audience on social media.

Of course, all we really care about is the ROI on our Social Media marketing efforts but we have to come to terms with the fact that the most efficient way to obtain results on Social Media marketing is to create an impact in the industry you are in, to have a voice, listeners and loyal advocates before you can have real results on Social Media and we can get plenty of help using this app, whether you are working as marketing manager in a large multinational, a small business or if you want to become an influencer as an individual.

Available in the U.S. and Europe as a free download from the App Store and Google Play.
