Discover More With New #LifeonTwitter Tool

Today I discovered "Life on Twitter," a wonderful, little online tool which is basically a funky way of analysing your account.

All you have to do is log onto the site with your Twitter details and it gives you a breakdown of your Twitter-tivity.

If you're a tweetaholic, you might just love this free online app. It will analyse up to 1000 of your last tweets to show you everything from your favourite emoji, your best friends, your follow ratio, your favourite day of the week to tweet, most used hashtags and a lot more.

Whilst I recognise this is a vague and dumbed-down Twitter analytics (which can be found by going to analytics.twitter.com) I can see the enjoyment too. It certainly doesn't have half the stuff real analytics software has but you can't knock it for a bit of fun.

That's what's important.

So go forth and enjoy the interweb and if you are interested in getting more accurate readings about your Twitter, use their own analytics. It's simple to use and you can track everything from how many mentions you've had to how many people have visited your profile.

You can even see what percentage of male/female followers you have and what they're interested in and whether they're using iOS or Android devices to read your tweets. It's crazy and great if you're just nosey or into digital marketing.

You can also be more specific with a time frame too on Twitter Analytics. You can see your top tweet of the month, rather than of all time/in your last 1000 tweets.

Whilst Life on Twitter may be a little simple and certainly isn't the type of tool you would find yourself coming back to time and time again, it is enjoyable as a one hit wonder.

Let's just say, if all of Twitter's 304 million monthly active users had one go on this tool, then Ddarrko would be laughing.

Whilst, this app doesn't offer anything ground breaking or new, especially in comparison to Twitter Analytics, I could totally recommend this as a bit of free fun and heck, something good to tweet about: "Did you now my most popular tweet ever got a score of 19 and featured a photo of fish and chips?"
