New App Helps You Buy Clothes That Actually Fit

That's Some Good Shirt

Getting a shirt that fits you perfectly is actually a lot harder than it seems. The world is rife with different people of different sizes, but most clothes shops only cater for one broad body type. If you're a man, shirts will fit you to some extent, but if you really want to look smart you have to go to a tailor. And that costs a lot of money. Mtailor have developed an app that will revolutionise how men shop for shirts.
For about 69$, Mtailor will make a shirt that fits you perfectly and ship it to you for free. You won't even need to travel to their offices and have to make awkward conversation with someone while they take your measurements. All you need is a iPhone or an iPad. The app will scan your body and determine your measurements.

Mtailor will ask you to prop your iPhone or iPad on something and put on the tightest fitting clothes you can find. You will have to rotate in front of your device with your arms up. The app will film you, and the people at Mtailor will be able to determine your measurements.

Before you send off your measurements, you can choose what sort of material and style you want. For instance, you can choose the style of the cuff, or whether you wish to tuck it in or not. The team at Mtailor will make your shirt from scratch, keeping you updated with emails along the way. The shirt is delivered free of charge. If you're not happy with it, Mtailor will make you a new one. You won't even need to send the first shirt back.

Buzzfeed writer Matthew Lynley was very happy with his experience with Mtailor. The shirts fit him better than any other and he went on to order two more. He was equally satisfied with the customer service, which is what makes this app really stand out.
The app developers are not just resting on the novelty effect of their new technology to determine measurements. It could simply use its cool effect and deliver substandard shirts, but it doesn't. Mtailor genuinely want to provide you with the best possible experience. At the end, you get a product of good quality, tailored specifically to you.

Could this type of technology revolutionize the retail industry? In the future, will be able to have access to clothes that fit us perfectly without leaving the comfort of our homes? Mtailor will soon be moving on to making trousers as well, and I excitedly await for the day where I can simply order a dress that will fit me perfectly.
